Our Foundation
Blair Construction’s foundation was laid in Augusta in the early 1950s, when Blair Leroy Mutimer, Sr. began a family bricklaying business. With hard work and a reputation for quality, the Mutimers built community brick by brick.
What started with a mason’s trowel has since expanded into full-scale infrastructure work across the CSRA. In 1973, the family formally incorporated Blair Construction, Inc., carrying forward those same values under a new banner. Today, Blair Construction specializes in underground utilities, directional drilling, fine grading, and base and subgrade work.
For decades we’ve partnered with municipalities and contractors throughout Augusta and surrounding counties, helping lay the groundwork for roads, neighborhoods, and public infrastructure. Still family-led and rooted in Augusta, Blair Construction continues to build onto the region’s future.
